The MX-5 Miata had the highest score of 88 among Mazda models, with the CX-9 coming in second with a score of 85. In the Consumer Reports individual model ranking, every Mazda model except the Mazda3 earned a score higher than the industry average. Data is from owner reports, not editor opinion. Some brands, like Dodge, had an insufficient sample size to be ranked. For a brand to be ranked, Consumer Reports must have sufficient survey data for two or more models. Lexus 75, came within a single point of being in first place overall.Ĭonsumer Reports predicted reliability score is calculated on a 0-to-100-point scale, with the average rating falling between 41 and 60 points. The Lexus brand has always been anchored in a dedication to quality, durability, and reliability. Many will not find it a surprise that Lexus took the top spot.
